Rey's Birthday Party! - MCA Holosuite, Wednesday

The holosuite was a fickle creature and had always been as such for as long as Jaskier had been aware of it. So, it really should come as no surprise that all his hard work (he bribed some squirrels to help.) had been nearly been all for nought when the room inexplicably turned in a saloon.

But you know what? He wasn't a quitter when it came to parties, so he worked with it!

A theme never hurt anyone, right? So, welcome to Rey's birthday hootenanny, y'all!

There were, of course, plenty of ~~moddable~~ drinks and things to be eaten.

And, of course, Summer had planned a full-on jello shot spread to bring to the party to honor the Lady of the Hour, becaues, hello, that was just what she did!

And, besides, even without Rey's birthday, a Wednesday without jello was just sad for everyone.

Hopefully, everyone would get a chance to enjoy (or at least admire!) some Glowing Light Sabers, Little Space Ships, Jello Planets, Caf Martinis, Coconut Meiloorun, Blaster Bolts, and (of course) Dr. Pepper.

Stark had missed, counting today, 4 full weeks of Summer's jello at the bar. Of course he was going to have to sample some of these.

"Very nice, Summer." He picked up one of the space ships to start, because they were adorable.

Was Summer everpossible?

Summer beamed proudly, with a pleased yet unsurpassed blush. "Thank you," she gushed. "I hope Rey likes them."

Or at least maybe tried one.

Appreciating them aesthetically counted, too! Summer knew how to set reasonable expectations! Sometimes!

"I'm sure she will," Stark said. "I like the planets, too. They all look good. I did miss your jello. And you."

"I missed you, too," said Summer, with a soft smile because that was always nice and definitely a good distance from, you know, being left on small planetoids because people who were supposed to care about you just straight up forgot about you. "And not just because the bar...and the whole island, actually...started to just feel really...eerie, either. But that is still way too long to be stuck in a hole. I'm glad all that's over."

And she wasn't even in the hole!

"It was a long time to be down there. Too long," Stark agreed with a firm nod. "I'm very glad to be out again. That we're all out again."

"Booze!"

Who even invited you, Cade?

Jaskier, probably?

"In its best form, too!"

Fight her.

"Please," she added, with emphasis, and an inquisitive tilt of her head, because did she know who this was? He looked, like, vaguely familiar....had some new person showed up and gotten lost in the shuffle with all the hole stuff lately? "Help yourself. There is pa-lenty."

Summer? Going overboard? In her jello shots? Hdu.

"I'll have one of each."

It was these kinds of amazing decisions that made Cade a wanted man on many, many systems.
