The holosuite was a fickle creature and had always been as such for as long as Jaskier had been aware of it. So, it really should come as no surprise that all his hard work (he bribed some squirrels to help.) had been nearly been all for nought when the room inexplicably turned in a saloon.

But you know what? He wasn't a quitter when it came to parties, so he worked with it!

Pssh. If it had the word party in it, it was totally a big deal. Even more so when you threw in birthday.

"YOU?" Summer gasped, eyes wide, hand to her chest, as if this little tidbit of information was just shocking. World-shattering. Narrative-breaking. "NooooOOOooooo!"

Then she dropped it into a softer grin.

"I am capable of lower key, you know," she said. "Maybe I'm actually so good at lower key, that it's so low key that people don't even notice it."
